What are the AirPods?
AirPods are Apple’s new wireless headphones which look similar to standard EarPods.
It uses Bluetooth LE with Apple W1 Chip
For better connectivity with iPhone, Apple Watch or Mac, it uses Apple W1 Chip with Bluetooth LE. W1 Chip products extremely efficient wireless for better communication and improved sound. It also manages battery life.
AirPods can control audio playback
Each AirPods is made with dual optic sensors and accelerometers. So, it knows when it is in the ear. When you remove the AirPods from your ears, it pauses music automatically. When you place them back in your ears, playback will resume . You do not need to remove both to pause playback. Just remove any AirPod and it will pause the playback.
You can answer phone calls
AirPods has microphones and activates it when your voice is detected. So, you can make and receive calls. AirPods offer greater noise cancellation abilities than the standard EarPods.
It works with Sir
You can activate Siri by double tapping any AirPod. Siri can then help you in adjusting volume, change tracks, check the battery status of AirPods and many other things. You can also ask Siri to dial a number.

Battery life and charging
Apple AirPods offer 5 hours of listening time if it is full charged. It can be changed in a charging case that also has its own battery that can last for 24 hours. So, it allows you to charge AirPods on the go. When the battery of the case goes down, you can charge it via Lightning.
AirPods also supports fast charging and Apple predicts that 15 minutes in the charging case will give you 3 hours of listening time.
