Google has launched its Cardboard Camera app for iOS devices. It lets you capture 360-degree VR photos. This app was launched for Android back in December last year.

VR photos taken with Cardboard Camera app are three dimensional panoramas. In these photos, near things look near and far things look far. To capture a VR photo, hold your phone vertically, tap record and turn around to capture panorama.

Download and install this app in your iPhone and start capturing VR photos with friends and family. While sharing this with friends, this new app creates and sends a link to either single image of album to friends. This link prompts recipients to open the files with Cardboard Camera, or download the app if it’s not installed.

To make it clear, this app is not for professional-grade VR photography. It is just a VR version of Google’s Photo Spheres, but it is fine.
