Asus has just announced ZenWatch 3 at IFA. This Android wear powered smartphone is crafted from jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel to look premium. It comes in Gunmetal, Silver and Rose Gold colors. It is priced at 229 Euros.
Asus ZenWatch 3 comes with 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 287ppi pixel density. The display is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor with 512 MB RAM and 4GB eMMC storage.
It looks very attractive with circular design and different color metal case.
It runs on Android Wear OS and is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.3 and iOS. It has dust and water resistant IP67 body to make suitable for daily usage. You do not need to worry even if you get caught in rain.
It comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 LE connectivity options. It has 6-axis (gyro and accelerometer) and Ambient light sensor.
It is packed with 340 mAH battery with HyperCharge. It claims to charge battery from 0 to 60 percent in 15 minutes. Asus also claims to address the battery issue which people usually face with smartwatches. It claims to offer around 2 days of battery backup with normal usage. If you also need more battery life, it also offers an optional battery pack.
