Asus has unveiled the next generation Asus ZenBook 3 alongside Asus Transformer 3 Pro in India. Both the ZenBook 3 and Transformer 3 Pro are said to be available from October 2016 onwards at Rs. 1,47,990 and Rs. 1,44,990 respectively.
Asus ZenBook 3:
The third generation of the ZenBook has had a massive design overhaul, with an ultra sleek 11.9mm chassis. Available in three color variants, royal blue, rose gold and gray, the ZenBook 3 has an all metal unibody with the logo carved in gold.
Rigged with Intel i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 OS and 12.5 inch HD LED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, the ZenBook 3 has incredible performance in ultra-thin form factor. It comes with a USB Type-C port and 1TB Storage. The ZenBook 3 also has a quad-speaker audio by Harman Kardon for the improved sound experience. It is also said to be equipped with world’s thinnest fan design at just 3mm for efficient cooling.
The ZenBook 3 now comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor which allows you to sign in and unlock the device securely. It promises 9 hours of battery and fast charge technology which brings the battery up to 60% in 49 minutes.
Asus Transformer 3 Pro:
Launching alongside ZenBook 3 is the Asus Transformer 3 Pro, a 2 in 1 hybrid laptop with a 12.6-inch display with 2880×1920 pixel resolution. Crafted from aluminum, it has a metal kickstand with a hinge that lets you set the device up to 170 degrees of viewing angle. Available in Icicle Gold and Glacier Gray color options, the Transformer 3 Pro is elegantly designed and is incredibly rigid.
Under the hood, the Asus Transformer 3 Pro packs the 7th generation Intel processor, 16 GB RAM, 1TB SSD and Windows 10 OS. It is also equipped with a 13MP rear camera to capture high-resolution images and videos alongside a front-facing camera with Windows hello facial recognition feature.
The Asus Transformer 3 Pro comes along with a wide range of accessories to extend its functionality. The stylus, Asus Pen offers 1024 levels of precision for a natural sketching experience. The connectivity port hub, Asus universal Dock includes USB type C port, USB 3.0, HDMI, LAN, VGA and SD card reader. An entertainment accessory called the Asus Audio Pod includes 4 power speakers for an amazing 360° surround sound experience. The user can also crank up the Transformer 3 Pro with ROG XG Station 2, an external graphic card dock for better graphics performance and VR Experience.
Asus has evidently has gone all guns blazing with these two ultra portable devices and is looking to take down its competitors. These two powerhouse laptops will be available on all Major Online stores and Major Offline retail stores.
