Xiaomi has launched another interesting home-gadget for consumers. This is portable mosquito repellent device for just $4. It has been launched  Xiaomi’s MIJIA or Smart Home (Mi Ecosystems). Now it is available in China for 29 yuan.

As the name suggests, this smart device helps you to deal with mosquitoes. It does not come with a built-in battery. So, you need to attach it with power bank. It can work for up to 14 hours if it is connected to the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank, 15 hours with the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro, and 28 hours with the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank.

It requires a mosquito mat to work.You can twist the device 90-degrees to open and place the mat inside. Once the mat is placed inside and the power is connected, the indicator glows and it starts working.

This device is compact with the weight of just 25 grams. MIJIA Portable Mosquito Repeller measures 4.6 centimetres.

This is a good device for frequent travellers.

In India, many people will take the interest in this device. But the main issue is the availability of the product. Most of the Xiaomi products are very hard to order due to less availability in stocks.
