For past few months, there were rumours about Apple ditching lightning port in new iPhone 7. While few mock up designs confirmed the possible 3.5 phone jack in iPhone, few leaks suggest ditching of 3.5 mm audio port.
Now we have a new video showing Apple’s EarPods working through Lightning port of iPhone. This phone was iPhone 6S using EarPods designed for iPhone 7. This is the first time, we have a working demo of EarPods working via lightning port in iPhone.
Video does not talk about the iPhone 7 in detail. It only shows the EarPhones. I cannot confirm if the EarPodes are from third-party company of genuine Apple’s hardware.
We will have to wait for September to get official details.
