Along with Mi Max, Xiaomi also announced MIUI 8 Globally. MIUI 8 was initially introduced in China last month. The Company confirmed that beta ROM will be available starting from July 11. The Stable release will be available starting from August 16.

MIUI 8 comes with the colorful design with various design tweaks, performance improvements, features and better animations. It comes with Mobikwik integration for mobile and DTH recharge direct fro messages. MIUI Caller ID offers crowd-sourced caller ID to identify numbers. It can identify the numbers from Amazon, Swiggy, Dominos, Zomato and more organizations to let you know what company person is calling. Caller app comes with T9 Hindi keyboard.

It offers Dual Apps feature in which you can create a dual space on your phone to manage your work and personal profiles. You can even have different accounts on same apps including WhatsApp, Facebook, and others. These different space will have the different pass code. You can just need to put associated passcode to enter into that space.

Another interesting feature is the scrolling screenshot which lets you capture the full page screenshot. It will also sync your phones in MI could with Local high-res previews. In this way, it will save lots of space of your phone. Gallery app offers better viewing experience. It comes with the better photo and video editing options. In video editing, you can crop, add filters, add captions and music.

It also comes with better power saving modes to enhance your battery life. It Freezes background app activity, suspends syncs, updates and background tasks to give you longer battery life.

MIUI 8 will be available for Mi 2/2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 5, Mi Note, Mi Max 32GB, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3G, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 3 smartphones. We have already confirmed the date for roll out.
