WhatsApp to add Music Sharing, Public Groups, Mentions and large emoji

WhatsApp is working on few more interesting features. Next update will bring features like Music Sharing, Public Groups, Mentions and large emoji. German site Macerkopf found these features in latest WhatsApp beta.

Music Sharing feature is interesting. It lets you share music stored locally on your device and tracks from Apple Music.

WhatsApp is also working on public groups feature. It will allow anyone with the group link to join and chat in the group. These groups will be as follows https://chat.whatsapp.com/TEST-CHAT. But admins will have rights to withdraw the link so that no one can enter in the public chat.

Mentions on WhatsApp will work very similar to Twitter. It will allow you to tag people in your address book within the chat.

The last thing noticed in the update is larger emoji. You have already seen larger emoji in WhatsApp. Similar kind of emoji will be available to WhatsApp.

All these options are now available in the beta version of WhatsApp. Next stable update of WhatsApp will get all these features.
