As per the recent leaks, Oppo is working to add a new phone to find series. This new phone will be Oppo Find 9. As per the leaked information, this new phone will come with Snapdragon 821 and 8 GB RAM.

Oppo Find 9

This phone will feature a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) ‘Dual Edge’ AMOLED display. It means the display will be curved on edges similar to Galaxy S7 Edge. This phone will be packed with 4100 mAh battery with Super VOOC fast charging.

Other specs are Snapdragon 821, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, 21 megapixels rear camera and 16-megapixels front camera. This phone will also be using Oppo’s smart stabilization technology showcased by the company at MWC 2016.

It is worth to see that specs only mention 1 rear camera but the image shows 2 rear cameras.

This phone will be shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop with OPPO’s Color OS 3.0 skin. It is strange to see Oppo’s interest in Android 5.1 Lollipop on this phone instead of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But, the final phone can come with Android Marshmallow.

This phone will be directly competing with LeEco’s rumored phone LeEco Le 2 Max Pro which is expected to come on June 29. Oppo Find 9 will be the second phone to come with 8 GB RAM. While 6GB phones are not in trend, phones with 8GB RAM will be something we do not need. But, companies are fighting specs war in place of user experience war.
