Huawei’s smartphone e-brand Honor has launched its new smartphone Honor 5C in India. This phone is priced at Rs. 10999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart. This phone will be available in flash sales for which registrations has already begun.

Honor 5C features a 5.2-inch full HD display with 74% screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 at the top of it. It is powered by a octa-core Kirin 650 16nm processor with Mali T830 GPU. Company claims that this phone will perform much better than existing phones in this price segment. It has 2GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB.

It comes with 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens. It also has a 8-megapixels front camera with 4P lens. This is one of the best selfie phones under Rs. 15000.

It comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS connectivity options. It also comes with Hybrid slot, so use either dual SIM or 1 SIM with microSD card slot.

It has 3000 mAh battery which claims to perform better than 4000 mAh battery available in other similar phones. Company also explains the reason behind it. It is because of better optimization of device. For average smartphone users, it claims to last for around 2 days. We will be reviewing this phone in coming days to verify these claims.

It has a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel which claims to unlock phone in 0.5 seconds. For good audio experience, it has Box speakers, Smart PA amplifier and SWS sound.

Best part is that It comes with 15 months of warranty and free screen replacement for one month. Even if you root the phone, your phone will be covered under warranty.
