Google has officially confirmed the name of Android N. Here, N stands for Nougat. So, call it Android Nougat. Nougat is another dessert-themed version of Android. For selecting this name, the company also took users’ suggestions.
For most of the people, pronouncing ‘Nougat’ can also be not easy. In UN English, it is pronounced as “Nu:.ga” but in US English, it is “Nu:.get”.
The Company also showed off its new status design which features a green Android Mascot standing on the top of tree bars of chew confection.
The final release of Android Nougat will come sometime during the third quarter of this year.
