Xiaomi has announced to open the sale of its Xiaomi Mi 5 and ditch the flash sales model for its flagship phone. Starting June 1, XIaomi Mi 5 will be available on open sale and will not require any registrations.

Interested users will be able to buy this phone from Mi.com without much hassle. Is it not good?

It is a good move because buying a phone in the flash sale is frustrating when the demand of the phone is high. The phone goes out of stock in seconds leaving thousands of customers unsatisfied.

Xiaomi Mi5 is priced at Rs. 24999 which makes it costliest phone of Xiaomi in India. It features a 5.15-inch full HD display with curved 3D Ceramic glass panel. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 3 GB RAM. It comes with 32 GB storage. It offers 16-megapixels rear camera with PDAF, OIS, LED flash and 4K video recording support. It also has a 4-megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity features of the phone are 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ac, 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port,and NFC.  It is packed with large 3000 mAh battery with support to Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0.
