Transcend has launched industrial-grade SuperMLC UHS-I Speed Class 1 (U1) microSD cards. These microSD cards have been designed with SuperMLC technology which makes it cost-effective but powerful.

These microSD cards boast high-performance, wide temperature tolerance, and exceptional endurance at affordable prices. It will be available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities with Transcend’s Two-year Limited Warranty.

Basically, designed for medical devices, POS terminals, and surveillance systems, it can work at temperatures between -40°C and +85°C. It is reliable and offers good performance. If you talk about speed, it can reach up to 95MB/s, twice faster than MLC flash chips. It is also 10 times more durable than MLC NAND flash.

It also features built-in Advanced Error Correcting Code (ECC) and S.M.A.R.T. function for reliable data transfer and self-monitoring capability. This makes it ideal for demanding industrial applications.
