After around 1 year, Myntra is back on the desktop with its desktop site. So, you can now access its portfolio and order products from Myntra.com. You no longer need to install the app to access Myntra.
Myntra became app-only back on May 15, 2015. It considered various factors before taking that big decision. We also explained why the mobile app is better than the website for both consumers and vendors. But Myntra didn’t get the expected response and saw decrement in customers. So, Myntra has brought back its desktop site to bring back its customers back.
“We listened to your feedback and brought the website back. We believe that customers should have the maximum choice, be it in the selection of clothes or the device they like to shop on. Hope that you will enjoy shopping on our revamped desktop site, mobile web and mobile app,” Ananth Narayanan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Myntra said about this return.
Company claims to build this website from scratch with responsive design to offer good experience across all mobile phones, tablets, and web browsers. Images have also been optimized to offer better performance. Although, these claims are just for saying. Almost all websites even bloggers do these things to offer good experience to their readers.
