Today at an event in Delhi, Motorola launched two Moto G smartphones dubbed as Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. Both phones are identical in design but Moto G4 Plus comes with better specs and fingerprint sensor. Moto G4 Plus is priced at Rs. 13,499 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant and the the 3GB RAM with 32GB version of Moto G4 Plus is priced at Rs. 14,999. Price of Moto G4 will be announced next month when this phone will be available for sale. Moto G4 Plus will be available starting from today midnight on Amazon.in.
Moto G4 and G4 Plus feature a 5.5 inch full HD display protected with Gorilla Glass 3. Both of these phones are powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Moto G4 will be available in 2 GB RAM but G4 Plus will be available 2 GB and 3 GB variants with 16 GB and 32 GB storage.
Both phones run on Android Marshmallow with Moto Pure experience. Moto G4 features a 13 megapixels rear camera with dual tone LED flash and full HD video recording. But Moro G4 Plus offers a 16-megapixels front camera with dual-tone LED flash, 1.3um pixel size, OmniVision sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Laser AF, PDAF and 1080p video recording. Both phones come with 5-megapixels front camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor and 84-degree wide-angle lens.
Connectivity features on these phones are 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Battery is also same and these phones come with 3000 mAh battery with Turbo charging.
Moto G4 Plus come with a fingerprint sensor located at the front side below the display. But this fingerprint sensor is not the home button what you can misinterpret.
