Today, Motorola launched Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in Indian market at an event in Delhi. Soon after the event, company published a blog post and announced Moto G Play along with Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. It was surprising that company didn’t talk about this phone at the event. This phone is now listed on official website.
Moto G4 Play features a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with 2 GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.
It offers 8-megapixels rear camera with LED flash. At front, it comes with a 5-megapixels camera. Internal storage of the phone are 16 GB which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It offers 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS.
It is packed with 2800mAh battery with support to quick charging. Dimensions of the phone are 144.4x72x8.95-9.9 mm and weight is 137 grams.
Motorola didn’t confirm the pricing of this phone. It will roll out globally starting later this summer.
