Yu has not launched any smartphone after Yu Yutopia. But, we found an online post claiming the availability of Yu Yureka Note smartphone in country. As per the post, this phone is now available from few offline stores. It is surprising because Yu and Amazon were partners to sell Yu devices in country. This time, company brought a new device so quietly. It is priced at Rs. 14,999.
Update: This phone is now available from eBay for Rs. 15700. We are trying to get more details from company officials.
I guess company was planning to surprise us with sudden launch of the device. But a retailer leaked its availability before company could say anything. Box of the phone confirmed all the specifications.
If I talk about specifications of Yu Yureka Note, it features a 6-inch full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor with 3 GB RAM. It features a 13 megapixels rear camera and 8 megapixels front camera.
Internal storage of the phone is 16 GB with an option to expand the storage up to 32 GB. It comes with 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 4000 mAh battery with support to quick charging.
This phone also features a fingerprint sensor.
