Xiaomi held Mi Fan Festival on its sixth birthday where it sold newly announced devices including M 5 and 20000 mAh Mi power bank. During its day-long fan festival on April 6, Xiaomi sold over 100,000 smartphones and accessories. Xiaomi’s website mi.com also received over 1.2 million unique visitors and recorded over 2 million game plays.

Other Xiaomi devices including Redmi Note 3, Mi 4, Mi Pad, Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro, Mi LED Light Enhanced, Mi USB Cable were also on sale with big discounts. Xiaomi already has a big fan following. So, it got huge response and its product were sold in no time.
Commenting on the immense success of Mi Fan Festival, Manu Kumar Jain, Head, Xiaomi India said, “Having sold more than 100,000 units in a single day on Mi.com is one of the biggest milestones for us this year. This is the first time we have sold these many units on a single day and we are extremely thankful to all of our fans for their overwhelming support for Mi India.”
It is worth to note that this Mi Fan festival was also celebrated in other countries including Malaysia and Singapore. In China, it was a big success for company which brought total revenue of around US$289 million.
