Google has finally launched its newest version of Google Chromecast and Google Chromecast Audio in India. These devices are priced at Rs. 3399 each.
Google Chromecast turns any TV into a smart TV. You can stream content to your TV through various apps including Netflix, Hooq, Eros Now and YouTube. It also offers few popular games including Angry Birds Go and Just Dance Now. Chromecast will be available from various online stores including Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm and offline stores including Reliance and Croma for Rs. 3399 only.
It will be sold in yellow and red color options. Now, it also supports 5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11ac along with its Fast Play Feature. It will also be able to cast videos at 1080p. Users will also be able to cast Google Photos on the larger display.
It is worth to note that this new Chromecast has few notable advantages over previous Chromecast. It comes with better and faster Wi-Fi connectivity. It also does not need more internal storage. So, it only comes with 256 MB storage as compared to 2 GB storage in previous Chromecast
Chromecast Audio is a good device to turn your speaker into a wi-fi speaker and then stream music from your smartphone.You can directly plug this device into the speaker and then connect it with your phone. Now, enjoy music wirelessly. Good thing is that audio is uncompressed to provide the original quality.
You can stream music, radio and podcasts over wifi. It works with most of the music apps including Saavn and Wynk Music. It also supports multi-room feature to make it possible to connect multiple speakers.
You can connect it with Android, iOS, Chromebook, Mac and Windows laptops. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5Ghz) . You just need to press the cast button in music apps to start casting.
Chromecast Audio will also be available from online marketplaces including Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm and offline retailers like Reliance and Croma for 3399 INR.
