Coolpad brings support for 13 Indian languages

Coolpad has just confirmed the new update for its UI to bring support for 13 Indian languages. These languages include Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. This update was for Coolpad Note 3 and Coolpad Note 3 Lite. Later, company pulled back the update for Coolpad Note 3 Lite.

This roll out is a result of the feedback that we have received from our users, along with need amongst our esteemed consumes to communicate in their local language using their handset. Thus being a people’s brand, we are introducing the language update and providing Coolpad users the ease of accessing information as well as usage in their preferred language” 

How to update your phone

Open the link and download the ZIP file containing Regional language and the YGDP Flashing tool. First install YGDP tool in your windows system and then open it. In this tool, click on configure to select the .CPB file. After this, connect your phone with laptop in bootloader mode. You can go in bootloader mode by going through recovery menu.

We suggest you to take backup of your phone before you start the update process. You may end up losing your important data in case there is anything wrong in update.
