[Updated] BSNL Launches 20GB 3G Data Pack At Rs 50

BSNL

[UPDATE – 1] It seems this story is an hoax. – Sanjay Kumar, GM, Sales and Marketing, BSNL told digit, “We also don’t know where this story is originating from. As of now we don’t have any such plans,”

BSNL has created a buzz by announcing its new 3G data pack. BSNL has decided to offer 20 GB 3G data for only Rs. 50 and this data can also be shared among 5 users across the country.

As per reports, this is the subsidized plan powered by PM Modi’s Digital India campaign. Another remarkable thing os that user need not take a full-fledged connection to avail this offer.

Users are required to register BSNL’s self-care portal and then include all those numbers which would share the Internet plan. The only primary number will be billed for this main pack. Other 4 users will enjoy The Internet without paying any amount.

If we see the market right now, 1 GB of 3GB data is being sold for around Rs. 200 by other telecom players. This new offer is priced at one-fourth but offers 20 times more 3G data. If BSNL gets success in providing good 3G speed, they will surely attract many new customers.

While the country is focusing on improving 4G condition in India, BSNL has surprised us with its 3G plans. If BSNL provides good speed, other telecom operators will be forced to give price cut.

Recently, Reliance Jio also confirmed 75 GB 4G Data and 4500 minutes for Rs. 2000. So, we can expect new price war in coming months. At the end, customers will get the benefit of it.

We are trying to get more information regarding this. We will update you once we have more information.
