Samsung has launched its new Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) smartphone in India. This phone comes with S Bike mode to give bikers a tension free ride and avoid spam calls. It is priced at Rs. 8990.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) features a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung’s own UI on top. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 64-bit processor with 1.5 GB RAM and Mali-400 GPU. It is packed with 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 128 GB.
It features an 8-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixels front camera. Dimensions of the phone are 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm and weight is 138g. This phone comes with removable back cover. It is packed with 2600 mAh battery.
S-Bike mode seems good for bikers. It activates by tapping on NFC tag. Once the mode is activated, caller will receive a pre-recorded message if the person riding bike receives call. Caller will have an option to mark the call as urgent call to force biker to stop bike and receive call. Biker will only be able to receive call once he stopped the bike.
It also comes with Ultra data saving (UDS) mode powered by Opera Max. This data saving mode saves lots of data by compressing cellular data across all contents.
It will exclusively be available through Snapdeal starting today. It also comes with double data offer on Vodafone. Vodafone 4G customers will get for 6 months and 3G customers will get for 2 months on data packs of 1GB and above.
