Google Maps will now give you the option to check if an Uber or Ola cab is available around you directly from Goole maps app. Not just availability, it will also show you fares. So, you can also compare fares before you book the ride.

Google Maps has added a new dedicated ride services tab. To check the cabs availability, just switch to that tab and see the available cabs. If you have already installed the app of that cab service, you can directly open the app to book the cab direct from Google Maps.

Cab tab will show you availability, estimated time to the destination, estimated pick up time and estimated fare. You will also see different listing for UberX, UberXL, UberBlack. Similarly, you will also see different Ola cab segment in the different listing.

Google Maps has brought this new feature to 5 countries including India, Spain, Brazil, Germany and UK. Google has partnered with Ola in India, 99Taxis in Brazil, Hailo in the UK and Spain, Mytaxi in Germany and Spain, and Gett in the UK for this new addition.

It is worth to note that Google Integrated Uber in Google Maps last year but it was not for all countries.
