Instagram has increased the length of videos you can upload on this photo sharing service. Now you can upload videos of up to 60 seconds of length. Earlier, this limit was just 15 seconds.

Instagram has already started rolling out the update starting today. It will be available for everyone in coming weeks. So, you will have to wait until you receive the update.

While Instagram is primarily a photo sharing service, its love for videos seems surprising. But the company decided this change after seeing the jump in the video consumption on Instagram. The video viewing time has increased by more than 40 percent. Introducing video view count was a successful idea and it boosted video consumption.

Facebook-owned photo sharing service is now getting time to time updates to make this platform more interesting for people. Now, it also has the best video feature to curate top stories.

For iOS, Instagram is also brining back the ability to make videos out of multiple clips saved in camera roll. It will be available this week in the recent Instagram update.
