Samsung has just announced its new Galaxy S7 smartphone in Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event in Barcelona. This phone will be available starting March 11. The company will also offer free Gear VR headset on pre-orders in selected countries.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is a dual SIM phone with hybrid sim slots. It features a 5.1 inch Quad-HD AMOLED always-ob pressure sensitive display. It is powered by Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor depending on the country. It is packed with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).

It features a 12-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and smart object image stabilization. It offers the 5-megapixels front camera. It will be available in 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 200 GB. But, you should not forget that it comes with the hybrid slot. So, you can only use second sim card or microSD card at one time.
It is packed with the heart-rate sensor, fingerprint sensor and barometer. Connectivity features of the phone are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0 and NFC.
Dimensions of the phone are 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9mm and weight is just 152g. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery with fast charging tech. Fast charging is supported on both wired and wireless charging options.
