Gionee has launched its new smartphone Gionee S6 in Indian market. This phone was announced last year back in November 2015. In India, this phone is priced at Rs. 19999. It will be available exclusively via Flipkart. It has been made available in three different colors: Golden, Silver and Rose Gold colors.
Gionee S6 features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI at the top. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor with 3 GB RAM. It has 32 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB.
It is a dual SIM phone with Hybrid dual SIM slot. So, one slot can work as either nano sim slot or microSD card slot. It features a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and full HD video recording. It also offers a 5 megapixels front camera. It is packed with 4G, 3G, Wi-FI, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity options.
It is packed with a 3150 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 18.8 hours of talk time and up to 342 hours of stand by time.. It measures 151.9 x 74.6 x 6.9 mm and weighs around 148 grams.
