Facebook has added an interesting way to send birthday wishes to friends. Now, users can record and send a 15 seconds video clip as a birthday message. This feature is dubbed as ‘Birthday Video Cam.’

When you access Facebook via mobile app, you will see a call-to-action pop-up asking you to record a 15-seconds video with the front-facing camera. You can also add birthday related frames to make it more interesting. This feature is only available on iOS platform.

Sending a video message is better even if you are just saying ‘Happy Birthday’.  But most people will use this video feature with close friends and relatives.

This is the expansion feature spotted in October last year. Now, it seems to be coming to all iOS users. Android users can expect this feature soon.
