Amazon India has quietly entered into Hyperlocal Delivery Service with the launch of ‘Amazon Now’. This service promises to offer delivery within 2 hours. One can also schedule the delivery slot to get delivery in desired time slot. Company has yet to announce this officially.
As of now, this is Android app-only service and offering service in selected parts (74 pin codes in Bangalore) of Bangalore. Service began starting February 1. If you are living in Bangalore, you can download Amazon Now app on Android device and see if your area is being served. If you are lucky, you can enjoy the service of Amazon Now.
It seems they have also partnered with few stores including Big Bazaar, Reliance Fresh, Godrej Nature’s Basket, BPCL In & Out, Food World and Good Food for products. Users can order and get items delivered within 2 hours.
