Xiaomi has announced its new smartphone Redmi 3 in China. This phone comes with metal build and large 4100 mAh battery. It is is priced at 699 Yuan. It will be available in China starting tomorrow, January 12.
Xiaomi Redmi 3 features a 5 inch HD IPS display and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop. It has full metal magnesium alloy unibody design with 8.5mm thickness. The back of the phone has 4166 stars arranged in a diamond pattern. Latest version of MIUI also comes with optimizations to extend battery life by 25 percent.
It is powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It is packed with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage and microSD card slot to expand storage. It offers Hybrid dual SIM in which second SIM card slot acts as microSD card slot.
It comes with 13 megapixels rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and full HD video recording. Quick focus offers focus in just 0.1 second. It also offers a 5 megapixel front camera with full HD video recording. Connectivity features of the phone are 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It is packed with 4100 mAh battery.
It will be available in Dark Grey, Silver, Gold and Classic Gold colors.
