Samsung has quietly launched Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 Edition in Dubai. The local price for the J1 2016 in Dubai is AED 499 (US$ 136). Company didn’t talk about global availability of the phone.
Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 features a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core Exynos 3475 processor with Mali T-720 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Samsung’s own custom UI at top.
It features a 5 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixels front camera. It comes with 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage. It offers 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 2050 mAh battery.
