Today at an event in China, ZTE has added a new member in its Blade series of smartphones. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back side. Surprisingly it is priced at just CNY 599 (around $93). It will be available starting December 11.

ZTE Blade A1 comes with a 5-inch HD display and runs on ZTE’s MiFavor 3.2 on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 chipset (with 1.3 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU) with 2GB of RAM. It features a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and an 8 megapixels front camera. It comes with 16GB internal storage which is also expandable up to 128 GB. It is packed with 2,800 mAh battery.

It comes in White, Vibrant Yellow, Dream Green, Cool Blue, and Space Grey. Its dimensions are 142 x 70.2 x 8.9 mm. It has a plastic build with glassy back to make it attractive.

Design of the phone looks similar to iPhone 5C. In this price range, this phone seems to be interesting in terms of both design and specifications. We have no information about its global rollout.
