Khan Academy Launches Hindi Portal For India

Popular online tutorial content website Khan Academy, the non-profit organization, launched a new hindi portal to provide content in Hindi language. As of now, it is offering syllabus of National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) for math.

With videos in Hindu, Khan Academy aims to target Hindi speaking students. Students can now watch videos and learn things for free of cost. Company plans to have 3000 plus maths videos for students soon. In coming months, we will also see more content covering other subjects on Hindi language. If this gets good response, we can also expect other local languages content.

“After the US, Khan Academy sees India as a huge market but not to make profit. We shall provide customized and localized high-quality content in different languages”, said Sandeep Bapna, India Country Manager of Khan Academy.

If you do not know about Khan Academy, Khan Academy is an online video tutorial website which was started in 2006 by Salman Khan. He is an American teacher, entrepreneur, and a former hedge fund analyst. This website is one of the most popular online places to learn things.
