Apple’s new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus comes with retina flash to let iPhone users capture selfie even in low light. In this, display of the flash shines in full brightness and produce light while taking selfie in low-light. If you own older iPhone models and miss this feature a lot, you also have an option to get this in your iPhone. Yes, there is no need to jailbreak your device for this.

I also want to mention that the feature is already available in various Android devices. There are few android phones with front flash to offer better selfie in low-light. But for iPhone, Retina Flash is the only option available. For this Retina Flash, Apple has also added improved display chip to produce 3 times brighter light than the normal usage. It means, you cannot get exact same kind of light with retina display in older iPhone models. But, it is better than having no light at all. If you are ready to get this for your iPhone, you need to install an app.

There is nothing complicated in this. You only need to open the App Store and search for an App called “Take Selfies FREE.” This is a freely available app. Install this app and give it permissions to access camera and microphone both. Now, you are ready with ‘Retina Flash feature’ in older iPhone models.

Open the app and tap anywhere on the screen to capture the photos. This app also offers timer which you can see at the top right side of the app interface. There are no much camera effects and other options.  You cannot even use Live Photo feature of iPhone. But, you can use it when you do not see enough light to get good selfie.

This is ads supported app and ads are visible at the top side of the app interface.

Try this app and share your views about this app with us.
