Bharti Airtel has launched its new Wynk games subscription service. This service is in beta and comes with more than 2000 global and local games for Android users. It is another big push of Airtel after Wynk Music and Wynk Movies. App is available to download from official website.

This library includes games from nearly 150 developers and company will also trying to add more and more developers to bring more games on this platform. The subscription of Wynk Games is free with Airtel data packs. For other customers, it will be available at a promotional price of Rs. 29. Once the current beta phase ends, it will be available for Rs. 99. This app is ad-free. It also allows users to download games and play them offline.

“By subscribing to ‘Wynk Games’, customers can enjoy a host of games at no additional cost – this includes many games that are typically found as ‘paid’ elsewhere,” Kartik Sheth, CEO of Wynk, Bharti Airtel said in an emailed statement. “Also, though customers download various games for free, they often can only play a few levels of the game before hitting locked levels and getting prompted to make coin purchases to continue. ‘Wynk Games’ does away with all these challenges and allows customers to enjoy complete games.”

Developers who want to put their games on this platform require to put 10 lines of code in thier app. They also need to register online at developer.playphone.com.

It is worth to mention that Airtel has teamed up with Playphone Inc., a GungHo Subsidiaria and Softbank group company based in San Mateo, California to launch this gaming subscription service.
