ZTE has added three new smartphone in its Blade series of smartphones in China. Newly added phones are ZTE Blade X3, X5 and X9. These are mid-range phones targeting emerging markets.
ZTE Blade X9 is the best among these three. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 Soc with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It features a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display. It features a 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor located at the back side of the device. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery.
ZTE Blade X5 aims selfie lovers. It features a 5 inch HD display and is powered by a quad core processor on MediaTek MT6735 chipset. It has dual 8 megapixels camera at rear and front. So, users will be able to enjoy photography with this phone. It is packed in a 2,400mAh battery. It also comes with a dedicated camera button located just below the rear camera. It is not the fingerprint sensor.
ZTE Blade X3 is powered by the quad-core MediaTek processor and features 5-inch 720p display. It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. It is packed with a large 4,000mAh battery which can also charge other devices as well. In features a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
All these phones are now available for purchase in Russia. If I talk about pricing details, ZTE Blade X3 comes for a price tag of RUB 8,990 ($138), while the X5 and X9 are priced at RUB 10,990($169) and RUB 17,990 ($277) respectively.
There is no information about global rollout. But these are mid-range devices which can become successful in emerging markets like India. So, we can expect global rollout in emerging markets.
