YouTube has also jumped in the music streaming market with its newly launched YouTube Music App. This new app will offer songs with both video or without video. Users will be able to quickly switch from video to audio only mode.
YouTube is the third most popular website and wants to take advantage of its user base and content to make its new app popular. It will create non-stop stations tailored to users who can also create it as per their interest. Not just original track from artists, but user generated content will also be available.
YouTube Music will also cache songs so that users can also enjoy offline music. Users can thumbs up or down on tracks to fine tune their channels and use filters to get content what they want to listen.
This music streaming service will be free but an advertisement free version will be available with subscription of $9.99 per month. Initially it will only be available in United States.
It is interesting to mention that Google Play Music streaming service will also be available along with YouTube Music.
YouTube was already on the target of music industry because users can post anything they want. But YouTube always claim to be committed to proper payments to music industry. It confirmed to pay around $3 billion to music industry.
