OnePlus has just confirmed its plans to push Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its smartphones OnePlus One and OnePlus 2. This phones will get Marshmallow in Q1 2016 or early next year, but company hasn’t mentioned any specific dates.
OnePlus One will first get Cyanogen update and then it will get Oxygen OS update. So, users who are running Cyanogen will also get Marshmallow update and before the Oxygen OS update. OnePlus 2 will also get Oxygen OS update in first quarter of 2016.
OnePlus X will also get Marshmallow update but company didn’t confirm the exact time frame. Since OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X run on same platform, so we can expect the update for OnePlus 2 soon after the OnePlus 2 gets update.
