LG has launched its new mid-range phone LG Ray in Russia. It is priced at 14,990 Rubles ($232 USD).
LG Ray features a 5.5 inch HD display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6592M processor with 1 GB RAM. It comes with 16 GB internal storage with microSD card slot. It features a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and full HD video recording. It also has a 8 megapixel camera at the front for capturing high quality selfie.
It is packed with 3000 mAh removable battery which is pretty decent for this chipset and display. Connectivity features of this phone are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS.
This phone will be available only in russia in the offline stores. It comes in Black and Gold colors. We are not sure if this phone will also hit other markets. But this is also a mid-range device, so availability in other markets is expected.
