Social networking giant Facebook is testing the new feature ‘Search this profile’ to allow users search individual profile pages.

This feature was first spotted by Alexander Kaufman, The Huffington Post’s business editor. He tweeted a snapshot showing this new feature. Later, Mashable’s Miriam kramer also confirmed

Facebook search profile

With this new feature, users will be able to search an individual profile for a post having a keyword. You can search for all posts with the mention of the searched keyword. It is onvious that you will only be able to see posts which you could already see in timeline. Posts which were not shared with you will not be available in search.

This will surely be an useful feature. It will make it easier to find older posts by a person. Earlier, you could scroll down until you find the desired post. Sometimes, it is very difficult to scroll down and take look on each post to find desired one.
