While we were discussing how HTC One A9 copied the look of iPhone 6 Plus, Coolpad also brought a phone with almost same design pattern. It has launched Coolpad Fengshang Max in China. This phone looks exactly same as HTC One A9.
Coolpad Fengshang MAX comes with metallic unibody design. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD liquid crystal display which is protected with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. It will be available in 4GB and 3GB RAM models with different internal storage (32GB/64GB/128GB) options.
It comes with a 13-megapixels rear camera with dual tone LED flash and PDAF fast focus. It claims to focus on objects in just 0.1 seconds. There is a 5 megapixels selfie camera. It also comes with gesture support for capturing quick selfies.
It is a dual SIM phone with hybrid SIM slot. Other connectivity features are 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB and NFC connectivity. USB OTG support is missing. Dimensions of the device measures 152 x 75.5 x 6.9mm. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back side.
It is packed with a 2,800mAh battery which claims to offer 17 hours of talktime and up to 310 hours of standby. Battery of the device can be charged from 0% to 65% in just 30 minutes with the provided charger inside the box.
It will be available in Gold, Grey and Pink colors. 3GB RAM variant is priced at 2499 Yuan (approx $390), 4GB RAM variant with 64GB is priced at 3299 Yuan (approx $516) and 4GB RAM with 128GB variant is priced at 3599 Yuan (approx $563). There is no expectation for the global launch of phone.
