Acer recently launched its budget phone Acer z530 in market at price of Rs. 6999. The phone has 5 inch HD IPS display with Zero Air Gap design and good viewing angles. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 2 GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Acer’s Liquid UI at top.
With 8MP front and rear camera, its camera app offers various modes and interesting features. Just say ‘selfie’ to switch to front camera and take picture with countdown of 3 seconds. Say ‘Cheese’ to capture photo. Say the name of different camera modes loudly and it will switch to that camera mode.It also comes with various gestures to let you quickly perform action in the device. It has DTS Studio sound which claims to offer professional cinema experience on your phone.
At this price range, its nearest competitors are Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime and Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen). If we do the comparison of phone with its close competitors, Z530 and Redmi 2 Prime have 8 megapixels rear camera but Moto E 2nd Gen only comes with 5 megapixels rear camera. Z530 wins in front camera department with its 8 megapixels front camera which Redmi 2 Prime and Moto E Gen 2 come with 2 MP and 0.3 MP front camera respectively.
