Facebook Is Rolling Out A New Notification Tab With More Personalized InfoFacebook to give app users more control over personal notifications. Now, you will see notifications based on the people, pages, and locations in a new notifications tab. Facebook has started rolling out changes starting today.

When you will get this new notifications tab, you will start seeing events from friends (eg. birthdays), sports scores, events you’ve added to your calendar and more. You will also have weather updates, local events, movie times, and other nearby info with location services enabled. In first look, it seems to be much like Google Now.

This update will not change your current notifications settings. If you want to change it, you can manually change it. You can also customize the info you want to see and add more cards for the information you want to see.

As of now, this is coming to US users. There is no information about the International rollout.
