Facebook has updated its chat to make it easier searching for stickers by emotions. You can quickly search stickers by emotions or search by name. Facebook started testing this feature back in December but it was not made available to all users. Now, almost all Facebook users can see this feature live.
When you click on stickers icon, you will see categories along with a search box at top. You can either use categories to see stickers or search by using the search box. I also found that it bring results from all available sticker on the platform and not just from the packs you have installed to use.
It is not just in chat, but you will also find similar thing if you want to post stickers in comment.
This option is helpful because you can quickly find a perfect sticker to show your emotions. This will also help sticker designers to reach to more people easily.
