Motorola announces Moto 360 2nd generation and Moto 360 Sport Edition at IFA 2015
Motorola has finally announced new Moto 360 2nd Generation and Moto 360 Sport edition at IFA 2015 in Berlin. As expected, new Moto 360 comes in two different sizes: one for men and one for women. There is also an edition of the new Moto 360 called as Moto 360 Sport.
Moto 360 for men features a 46 mm body which houses a 1.56-inch (360×230 pixels) display with roughly 233ppi and 400 mAh battery. Moto 360 for women features a 42 mm body which includes a 1.37-inch (360×225 pixels) display with roughly 263ppi and 300 mAh battery. Both smartwatches run on Android Wear and are 1.5mm tall. If I talk about other specifications, Moto 360 2nd generation is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with a 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Connectivity features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.
Moto 360 2nd Generation is more customizable. Motorola confirms that this smartwatch has over 300 possible combinations of looks with bands, colors, bezels, and sizes all in the mix.
Moto 360 Sport is best for outdoor. It is IP67 water-resistant. It also has dual-microphones, wireless charging and a heart rate sensor. It doesn’t include a speaker. It comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but there is no NFC.
