At an event in Beijing, Meizu has launched its awaited Meizu Pro 5. This phone offers high-end specifications and claims to offer best performance in this segment. Now, it is available in China. It will go on sale on October 12.
Meizu Pro 5 features 5.7 inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass and Gorilla glass protection. Display also offers 88-degree viewing angle. It runs on Flyme OS 5.0 based on Android Lollipop. It is powered by octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor with Mali T760 GPU. It will come in two RAM and storage variants: 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage or 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage.
It has 21.6 megapixels rear camera with dual tone LED flash, laser autofocus, 6P senses, Sony IMX230 Exmor RS BSI sensor and 4K video recording. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera with OV5670 sensor. It comes with fingerprint sensor which is fast and can be used for authentication. It offers 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi. Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity. It is packed with 3050 mAh battery. It also has mCharge quick charging technology. It claims that it can charge the device from 0 to 65% in just 30 minutes.
This smartphone measures 156.7 x 78 x 7.5 mm and is of 168 grams in weight. It comes in various colors including Silver, Gray, Silver and Black, and Gold. The 3GB RAM and 32GB variant is priced at 2,799 Yuan while 4GB RAM and 64GB variant is priced at 3,099 Yuan.
