Android wear iOSGoogle has finally launched Android Wear app for iOS platform. So, smartwatches running on Android wear platform are now compatible with iOS devices. It supports iPhone 5 or higher (iOS 8.2 or higher).

If you have a smartwatch running on Android wear, just download Android wear app on your iPhone and pair your iPhone with smartwatch. Once paired, you will get alerts for calls, messages and notifications. Your watch automatically tracks walking, running, and measures your heart rate. This data will also synchronize your fitness data. You will also able to use ‘Ok Google’ voice commands to set Google Now reminders, open the Weather app, set timers, and more. As of now, it does not support third-party apps or it is not integrated with Google apps.

If you use iPhone but also owns Android wear powered smartwatch, now you do not need to carry an Android phone always with you. You can use it with iPhone too.
