Facebook is rolling out biggest changes to the user profiles to improve the way people look at others. Facebook profiles are being viewed 4 billion times per day. So, keeping it interesting is a necessity. Today, company has added few things to let users express them more on their Facebook profiles. These changes are seriously awesome and will increase the daily profile view count.

New Mobile Profile

Facebook also announced new mobile profiles which are centered aligned. It makes the profile photo/video bigger. Below the photo, it reveals information in better way. You can decide what you want to show on your profile.

Profile Videos

Now users can add a small 7 seconds video as a profile picture. This video will be in looping mode, so it will keep on playing. It give you a chance to be creative to impress people visiting your profile.

Now people can be creative to be different with 7 seconds looping Profile video

Looping video on your profile will only be visible if someone visits your website. On other places, it will just show a single static frame or photo. This is very similar to what Apple showcased as live photos while announcing iPhone 6S.

Next feature is the featured photos which will be pinned at the top of your profile. You can select up to 5 photos. You can add 5 of your best photos so that anyone can recognise you easily. Sometimes people use photos captured from different angles or back. So one photo creates confusion makes it hard to guess if it is you. 5 photos are enough for your clear identification.

Temporary Profile Pics

It another cool addition by Facebook. This feature lets you add temporary profile picture which will be roll back automatically to your previous profile picture. Facebook already testing this feature in the digital India tri color campaign where it gave users option to convert photo in tri-color and then revert back to original after october 31.

Improved Profile Controls

Facebook always allow you to decide what information you want to openly share with friends and strangers. Now, Facebook is making it easier for you by introducing a new customizable space at the top of your profile. Along with your long bio, you will be able to add a short description about you. You can also add 5 featured photos to showcase at the top of your profile. You will have full control on information which you want to share.

These changes have been rolled out gradually and will take time to reach all people. Few lucky people have already received the changes.
