We already reported that BlackBerry is working on Android based smartphone to regain its market share and save the company. Now, company has confirmed its upcoming Android phone ‘BlackBerry Priv’ and released few photos of it.

BlackBerry claims that its new Android Phone will offer better privacy and improved productivity. As it runs on Android platform, users will enjoy variety of apps. Overall this phone will offer Blackberry’s security and privacy features on Android Platform. Although, company didn’t confirm the specifications but we knew it from rumours.

BlackBerry Priv specifications are expected to be 5.4-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display, Android Lollipop, 4-row BlackBerry slider keyboard, Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, Adreno 418, 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 18 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 5 megapixel front camera, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and 3650 mAh battery.

This phone will be launched by the end of the year. Now, we have official images. In coming days, specifications will also be confirmed before the official launch.
