Asus has just announced Acer Jade Primo at IFA 2015 in Berlin. This smartphone runs on Windows 10 and can also support Continuum. Continuum is the future of Windows 10 which allows users to connect a keyboard and mouse to a touchscreen device. This feature is basically for Windows 2-in-1 devices but few users may take interest in using their smartphone as laptop. So, Acer decided to come with an option.
Acer called jade Primo a ‘PC Phone.’ This phone can work as laptop replacement for you when you do not have laptop around. You will also receive a docking station and accessories like a keyboard and wireless mouse in the box to use this phone as laptop.
Acer Jade Primo will be able to run universal Windows 10 apps and x86-based apps which have been converted for devices with ARM-based chipsets.
If I talk about hardware specifications, it features a 5.5 inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 21MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
Pricing and availability details were not announced. We will update the post once we have information about these things.
