Google rolls out standalone website for Hangouts

Google Hangouts for webGoogle has now launched a dedicated website for its messaging service Google Hangouts. Now, you do not need to open Google+ or Gmail to access Hangouts chat on web. Just open Hangouts web and start conversation.

It offers all features of Hangouts which are available on Hangouts on Gmail or Google+. You can start a text conversation, video call or voice call. Your conversations will also be synchronized with other devices.

“We are launching another way to use Hangouts today.  From our new site you’ll be able to take advantage of the best of Hangouts in the browser, along with an inspiring image to get you through the day. Check it out and let us know what you think, ” said Jordanna Chord.
